1. Structural- physical properties of lanthanide (Ln) doped oxide nanoparticles. Local versus long-range structure properties and their impact on the luminescence mechanisms and properties.
2. Ln doped (nano)particles for X-ray imaging, luminescence thermometry and catalysis.
3. Photophysics of Ln coordination polymers.
4. Modelling the excited-state dynamics of Ln doped into disordered /mesoporous materials.
5. Multisite distribution and crystal-field energy levels calculation of Ln doped garnet crystals.
